William Nurney joined the Consumer Affairs Section of the Banking Supervision and Regulation department of the Reserve Bank in 1993 and is currently a Supervisory Examiner. He joined the section as an assistant examiner and currently oversees the consumer compliance examination process for a portfolio of banks concentrated North and South Carolina and portions of Virginia.He is also a graduate of the North Carolina School Banking and serves as an instructor in the Federal Reserve System's examiner education program.

Mr. Wolfe is a graduate of Wingate College and Lenoir-Rhyne University, the Carolina School of Banking at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge.He serves on the Board of Directors of the Piedmont Foundation at Lenoir-Ryhne College, the Board of Directors of Catawba Valley Medical Foundation, and the State Board of United Way.
