Since 2000, more than two million people in the construction industry have been trained by OSHA's 10 and 30 hour outreach programs.  With OSHA's implementation of a national emphasis program for construction site safety, contractors are required to step up their safety plans.

Split into 2 manageable 5 hour days, this OSHA class will give you the tools and training you need to work safely, productively, and profitably.   
 

Attendees will be able to:

·     Write and maintain an effective safety program

·     Understand the relationship between insurance premiums and jobsite safety

·     Use Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and hazard communication to properly handle hazardous substances

·     Anticipate what to expect from an OSHA inspection, including your rights

·     Comply with OSHA standards for hand tools, electrical, personal protective equipment and excavations, thereby avoiding fines

Fall Protection Class - Year after year, the #1 reported jobsite accident remains the same - falls.  Don’t be another statistic.

·     Recognize and reduce fall hazards

·     Effectively use guardrails and harnesses

·     Establish safety procedures for ladder and scaffold use

Textbooks:  OSHA Construction Safety and Fall Protection manual & 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations code book.


Upon completion, students will receive course completion cards from OSHA Federal, Builders Mutual OSHA & Fall Protection certificates.
