| The Competition |

The Best of the Lake Design Competition, in its seventh year, was created for Builders, Architects, Residential Designers, and Craftsman to showcase their talents in quality design and construction around Lake Norman.
A selected panel of qualified industry professionals will select 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention awards for the unique design and creative solutions to homebuilding in and around Lake Norman. There is no minimum of maximum number of awards in each category. One outstanding project will be chosen from among the winners as "Best in Show."
The awards banquet, Lake Norman HBA's most attended event, will be held on November 4, 2011 at Verdict Ridge Gofl & Country Club in Denver, NC where the winners will be announced and receive their awards.
Winners of the Best of the Lake Design Competition will be featured in Charlotte and Lake Norman area print publications.
