"Where's the Money?" Construction & Real Estate Financing Symposium
Mooresville, NC – July 21, 2010 – The Lake Norman Home Builders Association (LNHBA) will host a construction industry financial symposium titled “Where’s the Money?” on Thursday, August 19, 2010 for a candid question and answer session with regional and federal finance and credit professionals on the drastic changes to the construction industry including credit availability and qualifying criteria, clarification and explanation of the new lending rules and regulations and how to obtain access to capital resources and alternative financing. The Symposium will be held at the Charles Mack Citizen Center, Mooresville, NC from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm under the patronage of Cynthia Peabody & Associates, CPA, PLLC.
"Financing is the lifeblood of the construction industry,” said Brad Howard, COO of The Langtree Group, LLC and 2010 President of the Lake Norman Home Builder’s Association. “Lending as we once knew it is gone. The rules have drastically changed and anyone engaged in construction must understand and re-educate themselves on how to work with their bankers, private investors and government regulators to get housing, construction, development, and their business back on track to making money, creating jobs and driving our regional economy.”
The expert panel will provide a forecast on the direction of our regional construction market and answer topic specific construction and real estate finance questions (submitted by registered attendees) related to the new landscape for construction financing, the ever changing rules and regulations affecting development, construction and sales, and answer how businesses must change and perform in the new economy.

- AD&C Credit Availability and New Regulations
- Access to Capital Resources and Alternative Financing
